Rugby Ready kicks off

14 Mar 2016

Aimed at upskilling young players in primary schools, the Rugby Ready programme commenced in Christchurch last week. Over the next four months twenty students from the New Zealand Institute of Sport (NZIS) will be helping to develop skills in enthusiastic kids who are the future of the game. Rugby Ready manager Tim Webster said: "This programme is a win-win for rugby in that we enthuse children to play the game at a young age and we begin to develop students who we hope will one day become coaches in their own right."
